About Government Polytechnic Peren<\/u><\/b><\/h2>\n

Government Polytechnic Peren was established in March 2021 under the Department of Technical Education, Nagaland Kohima. The foundation stone was laid in the year 2015, and the buildings completed by 2019. However due to the pandemic the inuaguration and starting of Academic session was delayed. The Government Polytechnic Peren is the first Polytechnic under the district of Peren and is situated in New Peren. The Institute is located in the landlocked\u00a0 mountains of old Peren. It is around 15 kms from Jalukie town and around 30 kms from Old Peren town. The nearest airport is in Dimapur, which is nearly 2 hours drive or around 40 kms and the nearest railway is in Dimpaur which is also around 45 kms. The weather is warm and humid in summer and pleasant in winter.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The course selected to be offered in the Polytechnic is Interior Design. The Polytechnic is AICTE approved.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The world has advanced so much in technology, and in this era of information technology and artificial intelligence, many Nagas has not been able to fully harness the required skills to enhance their qualifications due to numerous factors in the state. Polytechnics has been set up in various districts of the state with different specilizations. The Polytechnics are offering skilled based courses in various disciplines to help students enhanced their skills. As such Peren Polytechnic has been established in the year 2021 by the Department of Technical Education Nagaland, and is offering\u00a0 3 years Diploma in Interior design.<\/span><\/p>\n
